Global leaders and others have tried to curtail global warming and climate change but have been unsuccessful thus far. The earth is warming rapidly and is continuing to warm.
Sea levels continue to rise, causing unprecedented flooding and catastrophic storms. Drought has caused apocalyptic wildfires across the globe. Food is becoming an unsure resource as is clean drinking water.
The Center for Climate Adaptation and Mitigation (CCAM) brings together scientists, climatologists, adaptation specialists, and other thought leaders to help clients deal with climate change and the consequences of global warming.
CCAM helps clients to identify the issues relevant to them and to put in place adaptation and mitigation projects and procedures to best deal with these increased hazards.
While we are hopeful that global leaders and others can effectuate meaningful environmental changes, thereby reducing climate change and its affects, we help clients to deal with the increasingly unfortunate certainty that these global environmental efforts will not be put in place in time and that the planet will continue to warm.
You can continue to be hopeful that the world will act to prevent further warming but if you do not do something now, tomorrow will probably be too late.
